Laisa is the owner and director of The Dance Project in Burley, Idaho and Dance Fierce Dance Competitions. Laisa started dancing at age 3, her repertory includes Jazz, Ballett, Hip hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Character, Pointe, and Musical Theater. Following high school, Laisa attended Boise State University, as a member of the Maneline, National Collegiate Dance Team. To further pursue her dance education, she moved to Los Angeles where she studied at the Edge, Tremain, and Millennium. It was in California that Laisa fell in love with fitness, and started subbing step classes at the Bally Total Fitness. Later, in Salt Lake City, while obtaining her Bachelor Degree in Psychology, she became
AFAA certified and continued teaching dance and fitness, as well as dancing professionally for the Utah Blaze, Utah Grizzlies, Sojourn and Treehouse adult companies, in addition to being a member of the pre-show performance groups for UFC and recording artists Rupaul, and Alex Boye. Following graduation, Laisa danced for Holland America Cruis line and was able to dance around the globe. Today Laisa keeps busy running her studio, The Dance Project, helping at the Anderson family business, growing Dance Fierce, and is now excited to be teaching Werq and Pound at Impact Athletic!
